I can’t believe the photo on the left was taken just 2 weeks ago, at a house where I was renting a room. Freezing and in terrible pain. It seems like a year ago. At the risk of sounding dramatic, I thought I was dead at any moment. The …photo on the right is minutes ago, in my room at the rehab facility where I am now getting strong. Warm and sunny here. Oatmeal, egg whites & fruit from the great kitchen staff and IV set up and run by the equally great nurses. At peace and feeling grateful.See More
